From our very first breath, the clock begins its steady decay, and time takes root as we break into the light. We arrive in this world as clear water and untamed marble—pure, clear, and unbroken. But as the years flow by, the friction of living chisels us away, muddying our soil with the dust of the path we tread.
To weather the harsh winds of rejection and shield ourselves from judgment, we weave a second skin out of quiet compliance and build a fortress around who we are. We wear this polished facade as armor, paying it as a token to buy a place around the fires of belonging and gain entry through the gates of the collective.
Yet when the storm calms, the walls fall silent, and the water settles within: whose reflection stares back from the deep? What remains beneath the stone? Who is the unsoiled soul breathing in the shadows—the true architect living inside?
